  1. What is CorpGenome?

    CorpGenome helps businesses find and engage with buyers for their products and services. Several tools and features on the site allow professionals to find new business relationships, and better manage existing ones. The service is designed to accurately identify known buyers based on their roles and past buying behavior.

  2. How do I use the site?

    You can use the following tools on the site to find buyers and better manage your business contacts.


    The Outlook Plugin allows you to get updates when any of your contacts change their details (title, phone number, etc.) based on information other users are sharing. This tool is free and ensures that you can track what's going on with your business contacts. It also automatically creates new contacts as they arrive in your inbox, saving you time. Facebook integration means that personal updates from your contacts are now all available in Outlook. Download the plugin


    Search for known buyers of your products and services. Our proprietary algorithms identify business buyers and provide contact details so that you don't have to spend time cold calling and working company org charts. Just specify the type of product or service that you sell and we'll search for buyers for you. Try it now


    The CorpGenome Marketplace is a paid Q&A service where you can ask the community and your facebook connections to help you identify a buyer at a specific company. You post a request on the marketplace and your facebook connections and our community will find the right buyer for you. You pay a small transaction fee when someone finds the information for you.   3. Do I have to pay to use the service?

    Most features on the site are free to the public. Individuals may purchase information about decision makers in the marketplace section for a fee.

  4. What is the definition of decision makers?

    Decision makers are individuals in a company who play some role in making a specific type of decision. An example may be a Vice President of Information Technology, who makes the final decision on the purchase of computers for a company. CorpGenome defines 3 types of decision makers.


    - Decision Maker: has the final say for a specific type of decision


    - Recommender: has the authority to recommend the purchase or acquisition of products or services


    - Influencer: is able to inflence the recommender or decision maker during the decision making process

  5. What can I buy in the Marketplace and how much does it cost?

     A user may purchase the profiles of individuals who make decisions for a specfic product, service or area of responsibility. The following is the price during the beta period for each of these profiles. The beta period lasts until December 31, 2011.


            - Decision Maker: $3/profile/area of responsibility


            - Recommender: $2/profile/area of responsibility


            - Influencer: $2/profile/area of responsibility

  6. What can I sell in the Marketplace and how much will I get paid.

     A user may sell information about decision makers for a specific area of responsibility. They can add this information directly into an org chart, or they can respond to a buyers's Request. 

    The seller receives 70% of the amount that the buyer pays for the information.

  7. How, and when, do sellers get paid?

    CorpGenome will pay sellers at the the latter of, the end of each calendar month or 5 business days after each transaction takes place. Monies due a seller will be placed in their PayPal account as specified in the billing information section (http://www.corpgenome.com/billing-information.php).
